Types of NVH Components

1. Body and Cradle Mounts isolate the vehicle cabin from the frame, reducing noise, vibration, and harshness. They are available in compression, compression/shear, and shear with materials such as natural rubber, butyl, and microcellular urethane. We can provide both conventional and hydraulic body and cradle mounts. Alpha applies the adhesive to the inner and outer bushings to enable different elastomers, such as natural rubber, butyl, and urethane, to be molded between the two bushings, joining them with a flexible, vibration-absorbing material.
   
2. Bumpers cushion the impact noise and vibration at the limit of compressive suspension travel. Bumpers come in a wide range of sizes for different applications. The adhesive is applied onto the metal component, with the rubber part molded to the fixing bracket.
   
3. Bushings help isolate road-surface effects and structure-borne tire and brake noise from the vehicle occupants, as they provide necessary support and restraint for the suspension arms.
   
4. Engine Mounts isolate vehicle powertrain noise, vibration, and harshness from the vehicle occupants as they provide support and restraint for the engine and transmission.
   
5. Plastic Parts can be coated with adhesives for subsequent bonding with elastomeric sealing systems.
