The secret weapon: Fixturing

While much of Alpha’s expertise lies with our knowledge of and experience with the adhesive technologies employed for rubber-to-metal bonding, our team of engineers is also able to custom-build part-fixturing systems which minimize adhesive waste through transfer efficiency.

Part geometry is carefully considered at the quotation stage to ensure that we can meet our customers’ requirements for adhesive coverage while simultaneously meeting the cost constraints for the part.   This is facilitated by designing part fixtures which present multiple parts for adhesive application in a single pass, using the four principle processes previously mentioned.
